Dr. Liu received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry (Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry) in 2013. He then completed a General Dentistry Residency program with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority at the Health Sciences Centre Hospital in Winnipeg. He now provides dental care services in the community of Mission area of Calgary and supports the Alberta Health Services at the Foothills Medical Centre Hospital. Or. Liu is a clinical instructor and staff with the Section of Dentistry and Oral health, Department of Surgery (Calgary Zone) and teaches part time in the General Dentistry Residency program regarding special care dentistry and procedural sedation dentistry.
Dr. Aaron Liu
Dr Liu’s parents immigrated to Canada in the 1970s and worked hard to provide a good education for him and his brother. Little did they know at the time that he would become the fine dentist he is today. Dr Liu loves working dynamically with his hands and is passionate about dentistry as an art form.

Personal Life
Dr. Liu and his wife spend time exploring and enjoying the beautiful Rocky Mountains with their puppy. In his spare time, he enjoys resistance training at the gym and pursues his hobbies of jiu jitsu grappling martial arts and hot yoga.
